Friends! Hello!

I don’t know how a year has come and gone, but all I have to say is GOD IS SO GOOD and it is such an honor to be following him!!

This year was one filled with the highest of highs, lots of laughing, new friends, learning how to disciple people, lots of tears, healing, freedom in new depths, being immersed in new family, leadership, and the list goes on. It wasn’t easy at all, but it produced so much in me. Leading Gap Year was one of the best things I’ve ever been entrusted to do, and I know that it will continue to keep getting better!! So much life came from this season! I love Gap J!! Just look at them!!

GAP J!!

I am equally as excited and expectant about this next season. In a few months, I will be heading back down to Guatemala to do an internship / vision trip with the Adventures in Missions base. I’ll be down there for 3 months, seeing the inner workings of long term missions and discerning where and what the Lord has for me. I love living this life hand in hand with the Lord!! It’s always an adventure.

Guatemala was our first country for this gap year route and it was special. The harvest is ripe here. We saw healings and salvations and fresh encounters and newfound freedom. The people are hungry and ready to receive.

It was never my intention to go back, but while I was in Guatemala the Lord began speaking to me and giving me vision for what was next. Words and dreams and encounters that caught me off guard, speaking about my ministry in Guatemala. I wasn’t super sure about all this, but His plans are abundantly greater than mine and I’m glad I get to simply chose obedience to his leading! Even recently the Lord had to show up and get rid of fears and doubts that were coming up about going back. I want to be where he wants me, for his glory! I want to die more to carry more of his glory!

With this all being said, I’m in the states for the summer. I’m in the in between season of rest and catching up with people and sharing testimony and fundraising and weddings. It has already been such a sweet few weeks. So refreshing. I’m getting so filled up and enjoying the simple comforts of the states, all while being in awe of how the Lord is continuing to work all around me.

I’d love if you would begin to partner with me in prayer! Begin interceding for my summer and for the months I’ll be down in Guate. For trusting the Lord with provision in all areas of my life. Also for deeper wells of intimacy! I JUST WANT MORE OF HIM!! For being quick to cast my cares and burdens at his feet. And for continual refinement to look, love, talk, and be more like him!

Thanks for taking the time to read this update!! I’m hoping to write more consistently, sharing about the next and also testimony of things the Lord did this past year! He is just so good!!

Feel free to ask any questions or drop any encouragement!!

I am also in the beginning stages of fundraising as well, as I need to get to around $5,000 before I can go in September! So, be in prayer about partnering with me in this way as well!

Love you guys!!

Be blessed!!

Jackie
